Roland Bathes said texts were either "open" or "closed". he suggested none were fully one or other; as there is always room for interpretation, however some texts attempt to restrict their meaning more than others. Some texts encourage polysemy and are open texts. Other texts discourage polysemy and are closed texts. The picture above shows an example of a closed text advert;
After i had shot all my film, i put it together in Adobe Premiere Pro, i chose Premiere Pro as it is an easy software to cut and edit footage. The footage i got could all be put into Premiere Pro and then i could drag it onto the movie timeline; after it has been dragged into the timeline i could cut little things out that were flaws in the footage and also clip shots together. Some shots i added music into my movie, the music i used was from youtube which i referenced in my music sheet. The music was simple to put in as i could cut to the part i wanted then drag it to the section of the movie it was being used. The audio was simple as i could turn up the decibels making it more louder and clear for the audience to hear. I could also clip different camera shots together making it into editing techniques; for example i could use two pieces of footage to make it look like a shot reverse shot.
